Mother

A painting of my mother. On the photo I used as reference she was 21. She got married soon after and had me. For all the years that I lived in her house the photo was there in black and white against the wall. Now that she passed on to the other side it is in colour on my wall where I paint. I like it there, like she is still watching over me. I miss her every day.
