Moth Orchid
Yesterday I just felt like painting something uncomplicated and beautiful like a moth orchid. I just craved something simple – simple topic, simple painting and simple thought process. It was what I expected it to be – a breath of fresh air – in a very busy and full life.
Orchids are big on numbers – over 25 000 species, some can live for over 100 years and their history dates back 4000 years. Vanilla is also an orchid so very high on the aroma scale too.
