Strelitzia Nicolai or Birds of Paradise in St Francis Bay. Painted from a bit further away you can see how they can grow to look like palm trees if trimmed. These Ikhamangas grow close to warm oceans. The flowers resemble heads of cranes with white crests and purple beaks and there is sweet sticky syrup dripping from them.
