Art is my passion. I’ve always believed there’s beauty everywhere and if I can’t see it, I keep looking.

As a visual artist, I find comfort in observation. After decades of conceptualising in the design world, painting has become a quieter space for me. It’s where I slow down, pay attention, and let the work unfold without a brief.

What my art is all about

My subject matter often centres around plants and people, but there’s usually something deeper at play – a moment, a thought, or a question about life that compels me to paint. I see meaning in everyday things, and I’m endlessly moved by the strange, wondrous nature of simply being alive.

Art, to me, is a window. It lets us slip past the obvious and catch a glimpse of something more, something beyond our confines.
